Ann moved to Whistler in 1977, a time when few people had heard of the village and the only access to skiing was from the Creekside of Whistler Mountain. She wanted an alternative to the high-pressure business world of Toronto and Ottawa and moved west to create her own pressures and direction. Ann's desire to own her own real estate company came to fruition in 1985, when she purchased the Sea to Sky Whistler office (founded in 1978). Today she also owns offices in West Vancouver, Squamish and Pemberton.
Ann is a vital member of the Whistler community and has been recognized as Business-person of the Year by the Whistler Chamber of Commerce and most recently was recognized by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver for her continued support for community initiatives.
