Halina found her true passion in the summer of 1978 when as a grade 11 high school secured a position with a Real Estate Broker in her home town of London Ontario as a hostess/receptionist on a new townhouse development. She was on her way to Western University to commence her study in Business Finance and work towards getting her MBA. However, she veered off into another direction. She remained working for the Real Estate Broker for the next four years who was encouraging her to write her exams and obtain her real estate licence.
In 1982, Halina moved to Toronto and started her career on Bay Street. For the next 20 years, she moved up the corporate ladder as a financial services manager gaining strong organizational, administrative and negotiating skills. Her field of expertise was commercial and consumer equipment lease finance in credit, collections, litigation and asset management. She had an ability to adapt quickly to new environments and function effectively with a positive attitude.
The entire time always thinking that one day she would return to selling real estate. In 2002 she took that leap wrote her exams to obtain her real estate license. She began her career in Toronto at Yonge and St. Clair with Canada Trust and thought she would start her new career in the same area of the city with Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd.
Each year through her continued persistence and dedication, Halina was awarded the Master Sales Award in her first year of selling real estate, then each year there after, the Gold Award.
In December 2004 she successfully completed and passed her Broker's exam's with the Ontario Real Estate Association.
In September of 2007, she transferred to the largest privately owned franchise Royal LePage office in Canada, Royal LePage Signature Realty, in Don Mills. Her sales catapulted and she proudly earned the Diamond Award that year as one of the top three percent for all of Royal LePage.
Halina Alexander concentrates in the Central Toronto area selling condominiums and detached homes in neighbourhoods such as along the Yonge St. Corridor, Waterfront Condos, Downtown Condos and Lofts, Rosedale, Yorkville, Forest Hill, Lawrence Park, Chaplin Estates, Allenby, Avenue Road and Lawrence, Lawrence Park, Moore Park, Lansing, Sheppard and Yonge, Sheppard and Bayview, North York, St. Andrews, Don Mills, and Henry Farm. Having lived in the west end for many years when arriving in Toronto, she has a special fondness for Bloor West Village. Presently she is a resident of Lawrence Park.
Halina's source of business is through referrals from her past satisfied clients and open houses. She enjoys meeting new people and assisting them in achieving their dreams.
